I curate. My curatorial approach is informed by ecofeminism, queer ecology, and critical fabualtion. I explore how nature has been perceived and represented in different cultures, cosmologies, and times; I trace the queerness of plants and animals (including humans) and the entanglements between sciences and mythologies. My exhibitions have taken place at MACA Art Center (Beijing), Yamanaka Suplex (Osaka), Subtitled (New York), among others.
I write. My essays, reviews on exhibitions, interviews with artists can be found in ArtReview, Adjacent Journal, Cultbytes, The Art Journal, Ocula, iidrr Mag, Whitehot Magazine, C-print Journal, etc.
I collaborate with people. I co-founded countercurrent, a publication dedicated to uncovering in(ter)dependent spaces that exist beyond the confines of the mainstream art scene. I’m also a founding editor of The Fifth Season: Archive of Friendship, a translation project focusing on the sociohistorical realities of the northern nomadic world and its associated cross-border regions.
I received an M.A. in Curatorial Practice from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and a B.A. in Curating and Art History from the University of York, UK. I’m now roaming with Dutch Art Institute (DAI).
Most of the time, I work for and care for my more-than-human friends.
Currently based on Earth.
